BDSM & Kink Consent Character Sheet
Have you ever wanted the power of telepathy, to know what others would like and what they want to avoid? For a few months with groups as small as 6, DnD party sized and as large as 35, our party house has been experimenting with using a want list at first and later a full character sheet for helping others read their mind. This is version 5 of that sheet both as a blank one and one that I used recently at an event.
- Less words is better!
- Icons or images would be awesome (we started with a palace for a description than brought a polaroid to events)
- Customize to the crowd and how well you know people

Why is this needed?
We are generally terrible as a society about commuting consent. I will admit I have screwed it up more than once. I grew up in a gay male culture where if you said no at a gay bar someone’ would by you a really strong drink. In the last 15 years since running house parties in Seattle, I have made a conscious effort to improve on these practices.
Will this fix all the problems? NO
This is just one tool we can learn to use to create a culture where it is easier and more acceptable to share our wants, desires, and limits. This tool is not a substitute for getting to know people and creating trust. This is the first step in opening up and commuting, not the last.
